MOTOCROSS : 2012 Suzuki RM Lineup

Suzuki announced its 2012 motocross lineup consisting of the RM-Z450, RM-Z250, RM-85 and RM-85L. All four models return unchanged save for graphic updates. The 2012 Suzuki RM-Z450 and RM-Z250 (pictured above) are fuel injected and equipped with fully-adjustable Showa forks, twin-spar aluminum chassis and swingarm and five-speed transmissions.

The Suzuki RM-Z450 (pictured below) is powered by a 449cc Single and has a 1.6 gallon fuel tank, with a claimed curb weight of 249 pounds. The RM-Z250 uses a 249cc engine and has a 1.7 gallon fuel tank, and claims a curb weight of 230 pounds.

For younger riders, Suzuki offers the RM85 and the
RM85L. Both models are powered by carbureted 84.7cc two-stroke engines and equipped with six speed constant mesh transmissions and 1.3 gallon gas tanks.

The base RM85 uses a 17-inch front wheel and a 14 inch rear wheel and offers 12.8 inches of ground clearance. Taller riders may prefer the RM85L which uses a 19 inch front wheel and 1-inch rear wheel with 14 inches of clearance.
