The Can-Am Spyder RS roadster models all feature an innovative and stable architecture from BRP. Two forward wheels and a double A-arm design are up front and a swingarm with a mono shock and a single rear wheel drives the machine. The Spyder RS is also outfitted with the Vehicle Stability System (VSS), a system developed in partnership with Bosch. Combine the Y configuration, VSS with proven automotive-derived technologies such as anti-lock braking, traction and stability control and the Can-Am Spyder roadster line offers confidence-inspiring handling and control.
The Spyder RS-S generates blood-pumping performance that goes beyond mere technical specs. Sure, the exclusive wheels, handlebars, spoiler – even the foot pegs – give the Spyder RS-S a menacing look. But the new FOX Racing Shox front suspension, the muscular 998cc Rotax V-Twin engine and proven Vehicle Stability System give you one heck of a ride. It’s a combination that creates a roadster so desperate to be unleashed you can almost hear it snarling.
