Yamaha who took part in the Intermot Cologne Show 2010 in Germany made a surprise by presenting the concept of the latest generation of Super edge of the Tenere.
Yamaha's new star is raised before the world public as "Worldcrosser".
Designed by Design Iwata, a number of changes to appear on the motor cruiser bearing this tuning fork. Among them Akrapovic exhaust, cut-down single seats, race-style screen, and the tire model hoe.
Because it is still present in the form of concepts, then there is no plan from the Japanese manufacturer to enter into the production phase.
The presence of motor cruiser is believed to be due to Yamaha's "hot" for the success of the BMW R 1200 GS motorcycle touring that dominate the market. Then there is also a Triumph Tiger 1050, KTM Super Moto Touring SMT, and Ducati Multistrada 1200 is quite attractive European market.
Affairs power source, Super edge of the Tenere uses 2-cylinder DOHC engine with a capacity of 1199 cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke.
To be more confident in attacking European players, Yamaha also equip with fuel injection system on the YCC-T engine, Anti-lock braking features Brake System (ABS), and monoshock suspension.
